The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre opens “The Enigma” by Pulitzer Prize winning author John Patrick on November 10th. The show is a hilarious, fast-moving comedy.
The show is a comedy/fantasy about Stuart, a computer operator, who lives in terror of the “tiger” who has moved in with him. His neighbor, Nora, has a similar problem – her nemesis being Tarzan, a “gorilla’ who has moved in with her. The complications multiply uproariously as the two scheme to get rid of their unwanted companions while, at the same time, “finding” each other. Meanwhile, their doubting friend ends up with the strangest companion of all. The hilarious relationships between the characters keep the audience laughing.
The cast includes Jim Codling, Theresa Geboy, Jeremiah Wright, Terry Cullen, Cheryl Grace, Jen Coulter, and Jay Kelton. The director is Jim Fraiser. The stage manager is Melissa Kelton. Sound and lights will be managed by Irv Hansen. Dean Noel is in charge of set construction and Laurie Spaschak leads set design and décor. Cheryl Grace will produce the show.
