Grand Opening Gala
The plans for the Grand Opening Gala and Weekend, Oct 1 & 2, of the new Bay St. Louis Little Theatre are being finalized. This will be a history making weekend in the Bay that no one on the Gulf Coast should miss. On Friday, the Gala starts with a VIP Party for the “Producer” level sponsors at 6pm. Then the theater will open at 6:30pm with a red carpet walkway. The evening will feature a performance of the one-act play “This Property is Condemned” followed by Jon Provost and Mary Badham entertaining the audience with stories about the filming of the movie, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by CJ's will be served throughout the evening. Live music will entertain guests until midnight. In addition, there will be an Auction that features a candlelight dinner for six in the theater served by the Sycamore House, rounds of golf at Hollywood Casino Golf Course, a weekend at a B&B, a tea soiree with Charles Gray, an original painting by Sue McManus and an original painting of the new theater by Zita Waller. There will also be raffles for a wine basket, Saints memorabilia, and show tickets.
On Saturday, October 2nd, the entire community can tour the new theater throughout the day. The one-act play will be performed again and Provost and Badham will entertain the audience again. The day’s finale will be an outdoor showing of the movie “This Property is Condemned.” The community is invited to bring their picnic baskets and blankets to the backyard grounds of the theater. Popcorn will be provided for all.

Saturday events are free to the community.
