The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre presents its final show of the 2024-2025 season, “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie. The show will open on Friday, June 13, 2025. It is the world’s longest-running play – running 63 years. The show opened in London in 1952 and has reached over 30,000 performances.
The play was originally written as a short radio play that Agatha Christie presented to Queen Mary of England for her birthday.
The play is a whodunit story with a twist ending. By tradition, at the end of each performance, audiences are asked not to reveal the identity of the killer to anyone outside the theatre, to ensure that the end of the play is not spoiled for future audiences.
Mollie and Giles Ralston own a boarding house where a group of strangers are stranded during a snowstorm, one of whom is a murderer. All eight characters in the play are considered suspects. All reveal their skeletons in their closets to get the solution of the murders.
The show dates and times are June 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 8pm. Sunday matinees are June 15 and 22 at 2pm.

‘LIVE’ at the Little Theatre – Quintron & Miss Pussycat (NOLA)
Good Earth Records & The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre proudly present Quintron & Miss Pussycat from New Orleans on Saturday, July 5th!
Quintron and Miss Pussycat have been making genre-defying noise and hard rocking dance music in New Orleans for over twenty years. The majority of their 17 full-length albums have the psychedelic soul of traditional New Orleans party music, filtered through a Hammond organ, technicolor puppets, and a battalion of distorted, homemade instruments. After the release of Goblin Alert (Goner 2020), the duo expanded to sometimes include other New Orleans musicians for live shows.
Quintron and Miss Pussycat’s sweaty musical blasts are paralleled in spirit and performance by Miss Pussycat’s dreamy puppet worlds elaborate, and beautifully crafted for success in intimate venues of late-night drinking and dancing. She has also had several major solo museum exhibitions of ceramics, paintings and other visual work related to her puppetry.
In addition to his work with Miss Pussycat, Quintron has been releasing albums featuring a self-made weather synthesizer called Weather Warlock, which uses sun, rain, temperature, and wind to make music. He has also played organ on a number of records by other artists, most notably The Oblivians and Steve Riley’s “Grand Isle” which was nominated for a Grammy in 2012.
Miss Pussycat and Quintron have also produced several puppet films, including North Pole Nutrias (WLAE), Trixie and the Treetrunks (Vice Media), and Frenchy and Jett (Disney).
The Quintron / Miss Pussycat experience is one of barely controlled electronic chaos, “Swamp-Tech” dance beats, small explosions, incredible clothes, and entertaining puppet stories. You can see them perform regularly at The Spellcaster Lodge in New Orleans 9th Ward, or on one of their many tours around the world. This act somehow has equal relevance in sleazy nightclubs, pizza restaurants, and university lecture halls.
Quintron regards his most significant creation to be a patented instrument called THE DRUM BUDDY, a light activated analog synthesizer which creates murky, low-fidelity, rhythmic patterns. Notable DRUM BUDDY clients include performers Nels Cline of Wilco, Laurie Anderson, Fred Armisen, and DJ Mr. Dibbs.

Bobcat Goldthwait – Legendary Actor & Comedian – ‘LIVE’ at the Little Theatre
Join us as we welcome legendary actor & comedian Bobcat Goldthwait to the Bay St. Louis Little Theatre on Friday July 25th!
Bobcat will be doing TWO shows for us – 6pm and 8:30!
Since Bobcat Goldthwait’s first appearance on the David Letterman Show at the age of 20, he has gone on to maintain a thriving career as a writer, director, actor, voice actor and stand-up comedian. As a comedian, Bobcat has starred in numerous HBO/Showtime specials, performed in venues all over the world, and even went on tour as an opening act for the band Nirvana.
Well-known for his roles in “Scrooged” with Bill Murray and as Zed in the “Police Academy” franchise, Goldthwait has gone on to become a well-respected award-winning director. His directorial works include Television (Jimmy Kimmel, Chappelle’s Show, Community, Maron, Those Who Can’t), feature films (World’s Greatest Dad starring Robin Williams, Willow Creek starring Bigfoot, God Bless America, Windy City Heat, and Sleeping Dogs Lie) and documentaries (Call Me Lucky and Joy Ride). In addition to being a 4x Sundance Alumni, Goldthwait’s films have played internationally including Deauville Film Festival and San Sebastian Film Festival. Bobcat has been honored with the German Independent Honorary Award at Oldenburg Film Festival for his collective works.
Bobcat has also directed numerous standup comedy specials (Patton Oswalt, Marc Maron, Ron Funches, Iliza Shlesinger, Mo Willems, Gary Gulman, Hari Kondabolu, Eugene Mirman) and is currently working on converting his critically acclaimed documentary “Call Me Lucky” into a narrative film with Judd Apatow. Also in development, is an original Narrative called “The Banishers” with QC Entertainment. After fleeing Los Angeles, he now lives somewhere in the woods in Illinois with his girlfriend, Nora Muhlenfeld, and their 5 cats: Anderson Coopurr, Alice Coopurr, Tina Sparkle, Bruce Wayne and Robert Smith.

78th Season of Shows
The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre announces its 78th Season of Shows. It is another fantastic season of shows for the community. The Theatre Guild reviews shows for nine months and submits its final choices to the Theatre Board of Directors for final approval. The diligent performance of the Guil continues the success of the Little Theatre.
The final show of the season is “The Mousetrap”, a murder mystery by iconic author Agathe Christie. It opened in London’s West End in 1952 and ran continuously until 2020. It is truly a testimony to a great play. A who-done-it about seven strangers staying in a countryside guest house. Which one is the killer? Who will be next? For seventy years, this show has kept audiences on the edge of their seats. June 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 8pm. Sunday
matinees are June 15 and 22 at 2pm.
